Found New Things..Sweet Items

Again as usual, I'm searching for new ideas for my dessert table design. I would like to search for EDIBLE IMAGE (Sugar) from Malaysia, and I've found the lovely blog eleafrost.blogspot.com, here in Selangor....but that was not it, I've found an item that I search for so long....I need to buy it from Australia....

What is the item?...ah haa...you just wait and see...I'll prepare some desserts and I'll tell you what is the item..very creative and practical item...

Finally....I'VE FOUNDDDDD IT!!! Yeayyyy

DIY Ice Cream in a jar

When I have some free time, surfing the net, searching for any crafts and ideas for my dessert table design, I 'bumped' into this sweet and talented web, www.stylemepretty.com. It's a wedding link, but the information inside this web are so great and inspiring....even though it's about wedding, the presentation are practical and can be serve to any occassions.

So, here is some ideas that you could prepare yourself at home. Who knows maybe tomorrow nite you've planned for something simple nice for your guests. Let's try....

What you really need to prepare:
Numbers of jar (you can find them in IKEA, Damansara)
Labels (which you can create and print)
Ribbon
Small Zip-locked plastic bag (you can buy at Bake with Yen Store)
Individual Packets Ice cream (Cold Storage)
Rock Salt
Sugar

1) Pour 1 cup of rock salt into the bottom of the jar
2) Pour 1 tablespoon of sugar into the small zip-locked and seal
3) Combined the bag of sugar with 8 individual packets Ice Cream in each jar (numbers of individual ice cream is depending on your jar size)
4) Tie your jar with your label and ribbon

Voila!...Now your guests should be impressed with your hand-worked...:) Trust me...

For bringing home this cute jar, your guests just need to add ice cube into the jar, so that the ice cream stays cool and creamy all the way home...
